NEA ONNIM NO SUA A, OHU

"He who does not know can know from learning"

The Symbol of knowledge, life-long education and continued quest for knowledge.

What is Nea Onnim?

Nea Onnim No Sua A, Ohu, literally translates to ‘He/she who does not know, can know through learning.’ It is the Adinkra symbol that represents the quest for knowledge.

The Nea Onnim concept has been in inception for around 4 years, and the iteration for 2020 is a podcast. After seeing far too many narratives portraying Africa as a charity case and a place of lack.

As a person of Ghanaian heritage, I have visited Ghana on numerous occasions and I slowly felt inspired to travel around the continent and learn from people. I aim to discuss the abundance and magnify the richness of African culture, business, health, and creativity.

The podcast shares the stories of inspirational people who I have met throughout my life. In the spirit of the symbol, I want my guests to share their knowledge and wisdom with my audience, in the hope that we start evolving conversations about Africa.
